2007 Summer Travel Practice Notes-
July 12- We ran 2 scimages simultaneously at this practice. The boys
in grades 6-8 and the Varsity team. XCel Lacrosse brought about 8
players and we mixed up teams and the boys got a good workout.
July 11 - Held Practice after the heavy rain and boomers left. We
worked on slides and transitions with Coach Dan Mulhall from Siena
and Coach Matt Johnson, UAlbany bound freshman.
July 5- We had a rain free scrimmage practice and had 3 great guest
coaches, Doug McIver and Bobby McIver from LeMoyne were there to
help along with All-American Matt Johnson, bound for UAlbany in
August. Our mixed team scrimmaged with Coach Baron's Excel
Team and the boys got good field time and teaching moments from
the guest coaches.
June 28-There will be practice for travel players in grades 6-11.
For practice- wear a reversible jersey, mouthpiece and bring your gear
and water too. Our new field is behind the baseball/playground area!!!
June 27- Practiced Cancelled due to storm/lightning/downed trees!!!
June 21-Rained Out Practice
June 20- We had our first JV practice and had many AWESOME guest
coaches, UAlbany's Head Assistant Coaches John Svec, Chris Kivlen
and attackmen Merrick Thomas and Eric Wolf showed our players
some great stick skills and they worked on offensive plays. BC Senior
Dave Amiri, Tom Pillsworth and Coach Mulhall also volunteered and
the 13 players got 2 solid hours of practice.
